Michelle Weitzel
Michelle Weitzel (born June 18, 1987 in Gelnhausen ) is a German athlete who specializes in the long jump .
Career
Weitzel was German indoor long jump champion in 2011 and was then nominated for the European Indoor Championships in Paris . There she could not qualify for the final. In the open-air season, she won the International Golden Roof Challenge in Innsbruck and the German Championships in Kassel . At the Universiade in Shenzhen , she finished fifth.
After completing her teacher training course in Regensburg , she moved to LC Rehlingen in November 2014 in the training group of national trainer Ulrich Knapp. Before that she belonged to the Regensburg associations LG Telis Finanz and SWC 46. Weitzel is 1.81 m tall and weighs 63 kg.
