Mick Franke

Mick Franke (* 1955 ; † April 2001 ), actually Michael Franke, was a German musician .

Life

Michael Franke was guitarist , producer and co-composer for Heinz Rudolf Kunze in the 1980s . He accompanied Kunze on the guitar at the German Phono Academy 's Pop Young Talent Festival in the Stadttheater Würzburg in 1980, where Kunze received a five-year contract from WEA Records . After four studio albums, Kunze ended his musical and business collaboration with his long-time friend Mick Franke in 1984.

In 1991 Franke founded his record company Slow Motion Records and ran the Harderberg studio in Osnabrück . In 1999 he joined the folk band Fiedel Michel, founded in 1973, as a guitarist.

In 1999 a CD was produced, the release of which he did not live to see.
