Micky Juković (born September 20, 1978 in Novi Pazar ) is a German actor of Yugoslav origin .

Life

Micky Juković was born under the real name "Mirzet Vuković" as the eldest of three sons in the Socialist Republic of Serbia in the former Yugoslavia , where he grew up until the early 1990s. In 1994 he came to Germany with his family due to the civil war in his Yugoslav homeland. He originally trained in business administration and worked in a bank .

He first came into contact with the film at the age of 17 when a film about substance abuse was being made at his school in which he played a dealer. At first he only did acting on the side on weekends, parallel to his work. He later attended various workshops for film actors, a. a. at the Stage & Musical School Frankfurt , in London, Berlin, at the Theater Academy Cologne and with Francisco Medina .

Juković made his debut on German television on MDR and on ARD programs . In 2016 he played his first leading role as Duke Boleslaw of Poland in the fictional multi-part documentary series Die Deutschen und die Polen broadcast by ZDF .

Juković is known for portraying bad guys on German television. His trademarks are his well-trained physique and his "lion's mane". He was best known as Robin in Hessen - Tatort attack on Wache 08 (first broadcast: October 2019), in which he played the leader of a gang of criminals who attacked an abandoned police station between Frankfurt am Main and Offenbach and took it under fire. Since then, Juković has made several guest appearances on ARD and ZDF.

Juković also took part in international productions, including a. in La Gran Promesa by the film production company 20th Century Fox .

Juković also played theater over and over again. At the Schauspielhaus Frankfurt he appeared in the children's and youth theater productions Ronja Räubert’s Daughter (as Räuberhauptmann Borka) and Krabat . From 2015 to 2017 he played the main role of sponsor Ralph in the German premiere of the play Der Drecksck mit dem hat by US playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis at the Alte Brücke Theater .

He is a member of the Federal Drama Association and lives in Frankfurt am Main .
