Felix Murot is a fictional chief inspector from the crime television series Tatort, played by Ulrich Tukur . Felix Murot is chief detective and works as an investigator for the State Criminal Police Office of Hesse . He mainly investigates the various crime scenes by himself, supported by his assistant.

After a medical examination, Murot was certain that he was suffering from a brain tumor that he had to come to terms with and that in his first two cases influenced his way of working and living. Murot had this tumor removed, however, and therefore determined the more recent episodes using conventional methods.
