The fictional detective chief inspectors Anna Janneke and Paul Brix have formed the Frankfurt investigative team of the ARD television series Tatort in the episodes produced for Hessischer Rundfunk since 2015 . Margarita Broich and Wolfram Koch play the leading roles.

Anna Janneke

Anna Janneke was born in Frankfurt and studied psychology. She becomes a police psychologist in Berlin, where she will be retrained to become a criminal investigator in 2009. With the new office in Frankfurt she is returning to her old hometown. Janneke is a good police officer, but does not shy away from unusual approaches and uses a slightly different method than her colleagues. She has a good understanding of people, but can also show a certain harshness. Janneke has a 26 year old son who lives in Australia and has already become a father.

Paul Brix

Chief Inspector Paul Brix also came to the criminal investigation department via detours. The former marine later moved to the military police and from there to the police. In the meantime with the custom, Brix finally arrives in Frankfurt to wait for a promotion. Both privately and professionally, Paul Brix tends to undertake dangerous missions and likes to overestimate his abilities. Brix lives with his old friend Fanny. The actual emergency solution has long since become a permanent solution.
