Wrong Rabbit is a television film from the crime series Tatort . The by Hessian Radio Post produced the 1101 Crime Scene episode and was first on 1 September 2019 First transmitted. The Frankfurt investigator duo Janneke and Brix is investigating its tenth case.
action
The entrepreneur Hajo Lohmann and his wife Biggi are about to go bankrupt with their medium-sized company Lohmann Solar Technology GmbH . They stage a robbery to defraud their insurance company. It should appear as if a truck with a shipment of precious rare earths for solar cell production has been stolen. Biggi shoots Hajo in the leg, as agreed, but the two are surprised by a security guard, who without further ado, shoots him very accurately between the eyes. The two apparently play the game of the alleged robbery with the police successfully for a while. Hajo, initially more seriously injured than intended, recovers relatively quickly from his injury. However, the insurance does not want to pay because of an unreported earlier attack. Biggi gets further involved and shoots two more men involved in the insurance fraud, also very accurately between the eyes. The local media speak of a "Cyclops killer", the police initially suspect a professional behind the crime. In the end, Biggi is found guilty of the crime. In the end credits it is shown that Biggi's accuracy comes from the fact that she was a multiple shooter queen in her youth .

Reviews
“In many ways, this retro thriller leads straight to our present. There you still dream of the horny eighties and arm yourself rather desperately for the technological necessities of the future, which you don't really believe in anyway. The fact that the tragicomic trick story from the solar energy sector was mainly filmed in autumn fog panoramas is another of the many strong points in this "crime scene". "
“This crime scene is noticeably influenced by Fargo and it brings to mind the series Arthur's Law, where one could get the horror of how comedic charm is drawn from the loveless mutilation of a husband (is the husband as a victim perhaps not given enough attention?). But the wrong rabbit finds between the bizarre and unexpected seriousness, despair, tenderness, guilt. It's pretty hair-raising which turns the book by Emily Atef (who also directed) and Lars Hubrich takes, but in the film it's just like this: If it works, it works. The inspectors Janneke […] and Brix […] essentially behave like spectators who believe everything and in the end just barely get the curve. It's almost sad then. "
“You don't have to take all of this seriously, because the narrative tone is sometimes dark and ambitious, then again flippant and joking. But headshot tragedy and the enjoyment of minced meat are closer together than the storyline is good "
