Florian Schwarz (born February 28, 1974 in Koblenz ) is a German film director .

Life

Florian Schwarz studied directing at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in Ludwigsburg . He repeatedly worked with the screenwriter Michael Proehl , who also wrote the screenplay for his graduation film Cat in a Sack . The full-length feature film with Jule Böwe and Christoph Bach in the leading roles was awarded the First Steps Film Prize in 2004 and was awarded the Screenplay Prize and the Film Music Prize at the Max Ophüls Film Festival in 2005 . As a director, Schwarz also drew the Tatort episode Tatort: ​​Because they evil are responsible, which was nominated for the Grimme Prize in 2010 and was awarded the German TV Prize for Best TV Film . Schwarz also directed the crime scene episode entitled: Born in Pain .
