Mie Takeda ( Japanese 竹田 弥 栄 , Takeda Mie ; born November 13, 1976 in Myōkōkōgen (today: Myōkō ), Niigata Prefecture ) is a former Japanese biathlete .

Mie Takeda lives and trains in Sapporo on Hokkaidō . The sports soldier of the Tōki Sengi Kyōikutai (Tōsenkyō) also starts for this type of armed forces. In 1995 the athlete started biathlon. In Ostersund she gave in 1996 her debut in the Biathlon World Cup and was 78th a function SINGLE. The first high point of his career was participation in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano . She was the host country's youngest participant in biathlon. In the competitions in Nozawa Onsen she missed the pursuit race as 61st of the sprint for a rank and was with Mami Shindo , Hiromi Suga and Ryoko Takahashi 14th of the relay race. In the post-Olympic season , Takeda won World Cup points for the first time in Antholz as 19th in a sprint. The highlight of the season was the World Championships at Holmenkollen in Oslo , where the Japanese was 55th of the individual. After the 1999/2000 season , she ended her career.
