Mieke Mosmuller

Mieke Mosmuller (-Crull) (* 21 February 1951 in Amsterdam as Mieke Crull ) is a Dutch doctor , philosopher and author .

Life

Her father David Crull came from Noord-Holland , her mother Marie van den Broek from Limburg . Mieke Mosmuller attended the Barlaeus Gymnasium in Amsterdam and then completed a degree in medicine at the University of Amsterdam . Together with her husband Jos Mosmuller, whom she met during her studies, they settled as general practitioners with their own pharmacy in Limbricht . Together they have three children. The first contact with Rudolf Steiner's work took place in 1983 . In 1993 she began writing. She has lived with her husband in Baarle-Nassau since 2003 .

From 1984 to 1998 Mieke and Jos Mosmuller were members of the Anthroposophical Society and also of the School of Spiritual Science. In 1994 Mieke Mosmuller published her first book and major work "Search the light that rises in the West". In the blurb of the book, she writes about it:

"In this book we are asked to learn to experience this problem of occidental man - thinking - ourselves, so that from this experience we can come to our own insight into the path that leads out of the darkness of the understanding."

For several years she had conversations with the Dutch cabaret artist Toon Hermans about his views on God and faith. In 1998 Mieke Mosmuller and her husband left the Anthroposophical Society. To date, she has published 57 books in Dutch, German, English, French and Danish.
