Mikaela Ingberg

Mikaela Ingberg ( Mikaela Johanna Emilia Ingberg ; born July 29, 1974 in Vaasa ) is a Finnish javelin thrower . Ingberg belongs to the Swedish minority in Finland. At a height of 1.74 m, her competition weight is 68 kg.

Your trainer is Tapio Korjus . Her best is 64.03; with the "old" spear, which was valid until 1998, her best performance was 67.32.

Mikaela Ingberg was Junior European Champion in 1993. At the European Championships in Helsinki in 1994 , she was eliminated in qualification. At the European Championships in 1998 and at the European Championships in 2002 , she won the bronze medal.

Ingberg also won bronze at the 1995 World Championships . In 1997 and 2003 she was fourth. In 2001 she finished sixth.

At the 1996 Olympic Games , Ingberg was seventh, four years later in 2000 she was ninth.
