Seppo Tapio Aleksanteri Korjus (born February 10, 1961 in Vehkalahti ) is a former Finnish javelin thrower .

At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 , the Finnish champions from 1987 and 1988 won the Olympic gold medal with 84.28 m ahead of Jan Železný and Seppo Räty . Before the games it had already become clear that Korjus was in splendid form when he was able to improve the Finnish national record twice, most recently on 86.50 m.

Tapio Korjus, who with a height of 1.96 m and a competition weight of 105 kg had ideal conditions for throwing a javelin, never again reached the class of the year 1988.
