Mike Rietpietsch (born March 26, 1974 in Eberswalde ) is a former German soccer player .

Youth and transition to the male area

Rietpietsch began playing football in 1981 as a native of Eberswalde at BSG Stahl Finow . In 1987 he moved to the sports school in Frankfurt / Oder and played for FC Vorwärts Frankfurt / Oder in the youth field. At the forward successor club Frankfurter FC Viktoria 91, Rietpietsch moved up as a teenager in the first team that played in the amateur league .

Professional career

The young kicker gained further experience in the men's field in the 1993/94 season at 1. FC Union Berlin . In 1994 he moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen , where he was unable to assert himself. His next positions were Fortuna Düsseldorf , SC Freiburg , VfL Bochum and Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . From the 2005/2006 season he played at MSV Duisburg . His contract ran there until 2007. During the winter break of the 2005/2006 season he went on loan to Holstein Kiel , and for the next season he moved to Wuppertaler SV Borussia , where he played a leading role. His contract there ended after the 2008/2009 season because it was not renewed. Mike Rietpietsch has been playing for Bonner SC 01/04, in the Regionalliga West, since the 2009/2010 winter break.

For the 2010/2011 season, Rietpietsch took over the post of sports director of the insolvent Bonner SC , but at the beginning of November 2010 he left the club again. In March 2011 he joined the Lower Rhine division Ratingen 04/19 until the end of the season.
