Mikhael Horowitz (partly also Mikhael-Zishe Horowitz; born April 15, 1988 ) is an Israeli ice hockey player who has been under contract with Maccabi Metulla in the Israeli ice hockey league since 2010 .

Career

Mikhael Horowitz began his ice hockey career at HC Metulla , where he was already active as a teenager and later in the Israeli ice hockey league. Since 2010 he has been playing for local competitor Maccabi Metulla , with whom he finished third in 2011 and 2017 and won the Israeli championship title in 2012 .

International

In the junior division Horowitz played for Israel at the U-18 World Championships in 2003 , 2004 , 2005 and 2006 in Division III.

With the men's national team participated in Division II of the 2009 , 2012 and 2013 World Championships .

Coaching

During the 2012/13 season he was in charge of the U20 junior team at the Finnish National Sports Institute from Vierumäki , Finland . He then served on the coaching staff of the women's ice hockey team at Ohio State University . At the 2017 U18 World Cup , he was the assistant coach of the Israeli team that played in Division III.
