World microcomputer chess championship
The microcomputer chess world championship (also called “micro-WM” for short , English World Microcomputer Chess Championship , abbreviated WMCCC ) was a world championship (WM) of microcomputers in chess that took place from 1980 to 2001, mostly annually .
In contrast to the " Computer Chess World Championship " ( English World Computer Chess Championship ), one since 1974 until today held World Cup, to all types of computers (including mainframes ) admitted that "micro-World Cup" was alone on microprocessors running chess programs reserved .
