Microregion Železné hory

Microregion Železné hory ( Microregion Iron Mountains ) is located in the Pardubický kraj region , Czech Republic .

The region was founded on June 28, 1999 as a community of interests of municipalities, which aim to improve and develop living and environmental conditions, industry, transport, agriculture and the renewal of the rural landscape. The efforts focus on aspects of the tourism economy.

Projects such as the expansion of cycle paths, the use of limestone quarrying in Třemošnice, and sewer expansion in Ronow on the Doubrawa are being implemented. In addition, a study was commissioned in March 2004 in which the state and opportunities of the microregion should be shown.

The microregion offers winter sports and numerous other cultural and tourist events. The nature trail along the Chrudimka river , the Seč and Křižanovice reservoirs, the Prolom nature reserve and primeval forest, the Hradiště and Slavická obora nature reserves and the Nasavrky Castle with numerous exhibitions and concerts are located here.
