Milan Wilhelm Pein (born January 31, 1974 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and member of the Hamburg parliament .

Life

Milan Pein studied law (1993 to 1998) at the University of Hamburg and graduated in 1998 with the first state examination. He completed his legal clerkship (2000 to 2002) and the subsequent second state examination in Hamburg; He has been working as a lawyer in Hamburg since 2002 with a focus on trademark law, media law and copyright law.

Milan Pein has been the successor to Jan Pörksen , district chairman of the SPD Eimsbüttel since 2009 . He is also a member of the state executive committee of the SPD Hamburg.

MP

In the 2015 general election , he received a mandate from the state list. He is chairman of the committee for justice and data protection, member of the budget committee and since August 31, 2017 chairman of the special committee "Violent riots around the G20 summit in Hamburg ".

On February 23, 2020, Pein again succeeded in entering the Hamburg parliament via the state list of his party .
