Milan Stepanov ( Serbian - Cyrillic Милан Степанов , born April 2, 1983 in Novi Sad , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian football player.
Career
society
Milan Stepanov began his professional career at FK Vojvodina , where he attracted attention at a young age through clear defensive behavior. Vahid Halilhodžić , the then coach of Trabzonspor , brought Milan Stepanov to Turkey in January 2006 in collaboration with the Vice President of Trabzonspor, İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu. In 2007 he moved to FC Porto in Portugal, which awarded him to the Spanish first division club FC Málaga for the 2009/10 season after only ten appearances in two years . Stepanov has been playing in Turkey again since August 2010, this time for Bursaspor . Here he played for two seasons and came mainly as a substitute player to an average of 15 league appearances per season.
In the summer of 2012 he moved within the league to the Mediterranean club Mersin İdman Yurdu .
National team
Milan Stepanov played several times for the U21 team. In 2006 he played six times in the Serbian national soccer team, but is currently not part of their squad.
