The Miles M.2 Hawk was a two-seat sport aircraft.
development
The aircraft was designed by FG Miles and was designed as a low- wing aircraft with an open cockpit and two seats one behind the other. The machine was powered by a Cirrus IIIA engine with 95 HP (71 kW).

- Version with a closed cabin, a copy built for the Egyptian Oases Rally held in January 1934 , aircraft registration : G-ACLI
- M.2B
- single-seat long-haul version with a Hermes IV engine with 120 HP (89 kW), a copy for a record attempt England-Cape Town in January 1934 (G-ACKW and VT-AES)
- M.2C
- a machine with a de Havilland Gipsy III engine with 120 PS (89 kW) (G-ACOB and F-AMZW)
- M.2D
- a three-seater variant, five of which were built between April and July 1934.
- M.2F Hawk Major
- Equipped with the 130 HP (97 kW) de Havilland Gipsy Major engine, a prototype and 16 series machines were built.
- M.2G to M.2Y Hawk Major and Hawk Trainer
- This was the last development before World War II. It formed the basis for the construction of the Miles M.14 Magister .
