The Miles Hawk Trainer is a two-seat trainer aircraft produced by the British manufacturer Miles Aircraft .
development and construction
The Miles Hawk Trainer was developed on the basis of the Hawk Major in order to supplement the requirements for the De Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth as a training aircraft . The aircraft had double controls , equipment for instrument flight and vacuum-operated expansion flaps . In 1937 the machine was further developed to the Miles Magister according to an Air Ministry Specification for training aircraft .
