Milo South African Challenge 2001

The Milo South African Challenge 2001 took place from August 27 to September 2, 2001 in Johannesburg , South Africa . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2001/02 and belonged to Category 5 Star . It was endowed with US $ 50,000 in prize money.

Last year's winner was Lee Beachill , who did not run again. In the final, Thierry Lincou beat Rodney Durbach with 15:12, 13:15, 15:11, 12:15 and 15:11.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of whom were qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. A wildcard was not awarded.
