Tommy Berden (born April 22, 1979 in Hilversum ) is a former Dutch squash player .

Career

Tommy Berden was active on the PSA World Tour from 1997 to 2005 and won seven titles, including the Australian Open and the Motor City Open . In January 2002 he achieved his best position in the world rankings with 22nd place. In 2001 and 2003 to 2005 he was a four-time Dutch champion . Between 2002 and 2004 he took part in three world championships . In 2002 he failed in the first round, while the following year he reached the second round after two wins. There he was defeated by Thierry Lincou . At the 2004 tournament he reached the main round through qualification and lost his opening game against David Palmer . With the Dutch national team , he took part in several European championships , including the 2001 and 2003 world championships .

He has been married to squash player Natalie Grinham since 2006 and the couple have two sons. From 2014 he was the managing director of the Women's Squash Association . When this merged into the Professional Squash Association , he became part of the management as Chief Commercial Officer .
