Mimmo Cattarinich

Mimmo Cattarinich (actually Domenico Cattarinich ; born June 28, 1937 in Rome ; † August 27, 2017 there ) was an Italian photographer and film director .

Life

Cattarinich was a photographer; from the mid-1950s at Studios De Laurentiis . There he worked regularly as a scene photographer for feature films of various genres . In 1978 he directed Piccole labbra from his own script ; it remained his only film. In 1981 he wrote the script for a sex film by Joe D'Amato under a pseudonym . Then Cattarinich turned back to photography, especially for female stars and starlets.

Cattarinich was active in all major European cities and in numerous African countries. His pictures appeared in Corriere della Sera as well as in Playboy .
