history

Udo Schöbel , composer, musician, designer, animator and entertainer, who had a chart success with Thomas D with the chart single Frisör in 1998, recorded the album first help with Marcus Vetter , on which Lea Büser can also be heard. Schöbel met Vetter in his studio, where he had recorded music for the show with the mouse . For WDR, the producer of the show, Udo Schöbel regularly composed settings of laughing stories and children's songs (e.g. the high sea cow with Otto Sander ).

After moving from Stuttgart to Berlin and the publication of the CD first aid , he founded the Minibeatclub , which for the first few years always appeared on the last Sunday of the month in various Berlin clubs. From 2003 the Minibeatclub became the show band for the 30-minute television program Die Kurt Krömer Show on rbb, for which Udo Schöbel also produced the animated film trailer. This show was released as a DVD with the title The Best of the Kurt Krömer Show and achieved gold status with almost 40,000 copies sold.

In 2006 Minibeatclub released their debut album called Einfach Gut . The producer of the album is Moses Schneider , who became known for producing recordings by the German bands Beatsteaks and Tocotronic . Most recently, Udo Schöbel wrote the music for the movie Die Aufschneider by and with Carsten Strauch and Cosma Shiva Hagen and Christoph Maria Herbst in the leading roles in 2006 .
