Mirabello is a fraction of the Italian commune ( comune ) Terre del Reno in the province of Ferrara in Emilia-Romagna .

The place is located in the Po Valley about 12.5 kilometers west-southwest of Ferrara at an altitude of 15  m slm

history

The settlement was built on the old and no longer existing course of the Reno , which today runs several kilometers south of the village. The community was first mentioned in the 17th century. Even if Mathilde von Canossa already had possessions in the municipality . The municipality was part of the neighboring municipality of Sant'Agostino until 1959 and an independent municipality from 1960 to 2016. On January 1, 2017, Sant'Agostino and Mirabello merged to form the new municipality of Terre del Reno.
