Miranda Rae Mayo

Miranda Rae Mayo (born August 14, 1990 in Fresno , California ) is an American actress .

life and career

Mayo began her acting career in local stage productions at her high school, the Roosevelt School of the Arts . She later moved to Los Angeles , where she began a modeling career before her breakthrough on television. In 2011, Mayo guest starred on an episode of the NBC police series Law & Order: LA .

In 2015, Mayo starred in Blood & Oil , a prime-time soap opera broadcast by ABC . There she appeared as Lacey Briggs, the daughter of the oil tycoon Hap Briggs ( Don Johnson ).

Since 2016 she has played the role of the new firefighter Stella Kidd in Chicago Fire .
