Miriam Aïda (born September 24, 1974 ) is a Swedish jazz singer with Brazilian roots.

Act

Aïda released her debut album in 2002 together with Fredrik Kronkvist and the Jan Lundgren trio . More albums followed. Her album Loving the Alien is a tribute to David Bowie . She toured internationally and performed with Hermeto Pascoal , Badi Assad and Marco Pereira . She also worked with the Norrbotten Big Band , with Joe Spinaci & the Broololino Orchestra , with Jerker Kluge and with A Bossa Eletrica . She also ran the Monk jazz club in Malmö. In 2011 she presented the Miriam jazz program on Sveriges Radio P2 .
