Mirjam Schambeck

Mirjam Schambeck (* 1966 in Wörth an der Donau ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian , religious educator , university teacher and Franciscan .

Life

Schambeck studied Roman Catholic theology and German literature at the University of Regensburg from 1988 to 1993 . From 1994 to 1998 she completed a doctoral degree in dogmatics and the history of dogma , which she completed with a doctorate in Regensburg. In 2005 she also received her habilitation for religious education / catechetics and didactics of religious instruction in Regensburg .

From 2006 to 2011 Schambeck was Professor of Religious Education and Didactics of Religious Education at the Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg , and from 2011 to 2012 she held the Chair for Religious Education and Didactics of Religious Education at the Ruhr University in Bochum . Since 2012 she has held the chair for religious education at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg .
