Miroslav "Miro" Nentvich (born March 24, 1959 in Czechoslovakia ) is a former German ice hockey player . He was a striker in the ice hockey Bundesliga and in the German national ice hockey team .
career
Nentvich began his professional career with the Augsburg EV . With the team he rose in 1978 to the ice hockey Bundesliga. After the 1978/79 season , he moved to SB Rosenheim to leave for Mannheim after two years . Under coach Ladislav Olejník he was with the Mannheim ERC 1983 German ice hockey runner-up . During his career in Mannheim he was able to contribute 87 scorer points to the success of the team in 118 main round games . Before the 1984/85 season , Nentvich moved to Düsseldorfer EG . With this team, too, he should achieve two runner-up titles. After five years in Düsseldorf , Nentvich signed a contract with the EHC Freiburg during the current season, only to switch to the Kölner Haien a year later, before the 1990/91 season . Both in Freiburg and in Cologne he was no longer able to convince. From 1991 he played for SC Memmingen in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey , in the 1994/95 season he played a few more games for EHC Freiburg. From 1995 he was still active for the amateur team of the AEV in the Bavarian State League.
Nentvich played a total of four times for the German national ice hockey team as well as two world and one European championships for the German junior national teams.
