Misael Rodríguez Uziel Olivas (* 7. April 1994 in Ciénega de Ceniceros , Chihuahua ) is a Mexican boxer in the middleweight (-75 kg).

Amateur career

Misael Rodríguez won the silver medal at the Central American and Caribbean Games in 2014 when he was only stopped in the final by Cuban Arlen López . In 2015 he won a bronze medal at the American Games in Canada and the American Championships in Venezuela , where he also managed a victory against Myke Carvalho . At the 2015 World Championships in Qatar , he was eliminated in the second fight against the reigning world champion Schänibek Älimchanuly .

In March 2016 he started in the American Olympic qualification in Argentina , where he faced Joseph Cherkashyn from Chile (3-0), Arthur Langelier from St. Lucia (TKO), Luis Hernández from Panama (3-0) and Marlon Delgado from Ecuador (3-0) fought for the final and qualified for the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil .
