The Kashmiri independence terrorist Malik (Puru Rajkumat) has announced that all doctors treating Indians must die. When the son of police chief Inayat Khan (Sanjay Dutt) had an accident, of course no doctor wanted to help. The boy dies. Khan takes revenge and slams Malik - and with him a whole family. The only survivor is the boy Altaaf. Khan and his wife Neelima (Sonali Kulkarni) want to raise him as an adoptive son. Everything goes well - until Altaaf discovers that Khan killed his real family. The boy runs away and grows up to be a terrorist (Hrithik Roshan) who has declared war on both India and Khan.
