Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik Roshan Nagrath ( Hindi , ऋतिक रोशन, rtic Rosan * 10. January 1974 in Mumbai ) is an Indian Bollywood - Actor .
Life
His parents are the actors Pinky and Rakesh Roshan . Rakesh is a producer and director. The actor has two thumbs on his right hand ( polydactyly ).
Hrithik's first film role was in Aasha in 1980 , in which he played a dancing boy. He later worked behind the camera for his father. While filming Karan Arjun , lead actor Salman Khan encouraged him to give acting a try.
Hrithik became a star overnight when he starred with Amisha Patel in Kaho Naa ... Pyaar Hai - Love Out of the Blue . His father directed it. He was appointed as Shah Rukh Khan's viewed successor, but apart from in good times and in difficult days ( Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham ) in 2001 and Koi ... Mil Gaya in 2003, had his films only moderate success.
Hrithik Roshan was married to Susanne Khan, the daughter of Sanjay Khan , whom he had known since high school. They have two sons who were born in 2006 and 2008. In December 2013, the couple announced their split. They officially divorced in 2014 after 14 years of marriage.
Like many Bollywood actors, Hrithik appears on Bollywood shows. He made his first appearance at the Lux Cine Awards in 2001.
In 2006 he had two hits with the films Krrish , a sequel to Koi ... Mil Gaya , directed by his father. Hrithik can be seen in this film in the role of a superhero; his female counterpart is played by Priyanka Chopra and Dhoom 2 - Back in Action , in which he took on the role of the villain, his female counterpart in this film was played by Aishwarya Rai . In 2008 he was back in the spotlight with the long-announced film Jodhaa Akbar . He plays the Mughal emperor Akbar I , Aishwarya Rai the Rajput princess Jodhaa. The film Bang Bang !, an official remake of Knight and Day , in which he starred alongside Katrina Kaif , had one of the highest opening day revenues in Indian film history.
