Mister Dynamite
The monthly paperback series Mister Dynamit by CH Guenter was published by Erich Pabel Verlag from 1965 to 1992 . From 1999 onwards, a number of previously unpublished novels were published by Oerindur Verlag, Steyr, as collector's editions. Bob (Robert) Urban , called Mister Dynamit , is a powerful agent in the German Federal Intelligence Service and experiences more than 300 adventures in the novels. The agent with code 18 is between 180 and 187 cm tall, has brown hair and gray eyes. He's always smiling because of a congenital muscle shortening in his face. Urban lives in a penthouse in Schwabing . He studied high-frequency technology and mechanical engineering and did his doctorate on semiconductor technology . In the Bundeswehr, he rose to the rank of major and then hired for the BND. At the beginning of the series, Urban moved with a Porsche , which he exchanged for a Mercedes 300SL and later for various BMWs .
In the mid-1980s, the circulation was between 120,000 and 200,000 copies. Translations were made for the USA, France, Italy and Brazil.

- Mister Dynamit - Tomorrow Death Kisses You (1967) with Lex Barker and Maria Perschy based on the Pabel novel of the same name, No. 212, the first Mister Dynamit novel. More Mister Dynamite films were planned, but since Lex Barker had to claim his fee for the film, he was no longer interested in sequels.
