List of mountains or elevations in Oceania

This is a list of the mountains and elevations in Oceania . The continent of Oceania comprises mainland Australia and the islands north and east of Australia on the continental shelf . The largest of these islands is New Guinea , and there are also the highest mountains in Oceania. Also included are New Zealand and Hawaii peaks .

For some peaks there are different height indications (see notes and sources). Many mountains in Oceania, especially volcanoes and isolated elevations on islands, cannot be assigned to mountains.
