Ghana's membership in international organizations

Ghana is a member of various international organizations and groups. The most important are the memberships in the United Nations (since 1957) and its sub- and special organizations, in the International Monetary Fund and in the World Bank . At the regional level, the memberships in the African Union and the West African Economic Community (ECOWAS), an economic community in West Africa, are most significant.
