Moana Carcasses Kalosil (born January 27, 1963 in Taravao, Tahiti ) is a politician and former Prime Minister of Vanuatu .
He is a member of the Green Confederation (GC) party, of which he was temporarily chairman. From 2003 to 2004 he was foreign minister, from 2004 to 2005 finance minister, from 2009 to 2010 interior minister and labor minister and from 2010 to 2011 finance and economy minister. After Prime Minister Sato Kilman resigned on March 21, 2013, Moana Carcasses Kalosil was elected as his successor on March 23, 2013 by a vote of 34 of the 52 members of parliament . On May 15, 2014, he was overthrown by a vote of no confidence in which 35 MPs voted against him and only 11 for him. Joe Natuman was elected to succeed him.
