Mojtaba Hashemi ( Persian مجتبی هاشمی; * November 13, 1941 in Tehran ; † May 28, 1985 in Wahdat-e-Islami Street (formerly Shapur Street) in Tehran murdered by People's Mujahedin .) Was an Iranian paramilitary and diplomat .

Career

He was the fourth child in a religious and civil family. From June 15, 1964, he rebelled against the regime of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi . He produced and distributed leaflets and language banners as well as pictures of the Ruhollah Khomeini . When Ruhollah Khomeini returned from exile in Paris, Mojtaba Hashemi was a member of the welcome committee and contributed to the overthrow of the Pahlavi dynasty alongside the financially ill-off . After the victory of the Islamic Revolution on February 22, 1979, he organized the 9th Revolutionary Forces and formed the 9th Islamic Revolutionary Committee. After the start of the Iraqi invasion in Basra , he organized a group of paramilitary  police forces of Iran following the example of Fada'iyan-e Islam to the invasion of the Ba'athists in Abadan and Khorramshahr counter.

In 1984, he was chargé d'affaires in Jeddah .
