Momentum 1 Day Cup 2016/17
The Momentum 1 Day Cup 2016/17 was the 36th staging of the National List A cricket - Cup in South Africa . The competition was held between February 17, 2017 and March 31, 2017 between the six South African first-class franchises. In the final the Titans were able to prevail against the Warriors with 236 runs .
format
The six teams played in a group twice against each other team. There are four points for a win, two for a draw or no result and no point for a loss. A bonus point is awarded if, with a sense of purpose, one's own run number exceeds that of the opponent by 1.25 times. Furthermore, it is possible that teams are deducted points if, for example, they play too slowly. The first in the group qualifies directly for the final, while the second and third in the group play a semi-final.
