Monica Jauca (born September 3, 1968 ) is a former Romanian biathlete .

Monica Jauca changed as several other Romanian skiers in the 1989/90 season for biathlon and took in 1990 in Minsk and Oslo at the World Championships , where she 29 the Sprint race and 12th of the function SINGLE - was - her best international result. A year later in Lahti the ranks 37 in the individual and 44 in the sprint were added. In 1992 she was one of the biathletes who participated in the first ever Olympic biathlon competitions for women. In the very first race, the sprint, she was 63rd. It went better in the individual, where she was 48th. For the relay race, in which only three runners could take part, she did not prevail against Ileana Hangan-Ianoşiu , Adina Țuțulan-Șotropa and Mihaela Cârstoi . The last major international event was the 1993 World Championships in Borowetz . In the individual, Jauca was 27th, in the sprint 58th and with Mihaela Cârstoi, Daniela Gârbacea and Adina Țuțulan-Șotropa in the team race eleventh. After the season she ended her career.
