Corina-Mihaela Cârstoi (born March 16, 1971 in Predeal ) is a former Romanian biathlete and cross-country skier .

Mihaela Cârstoi was initially active as a cross-country skier. At the age of 17, she took part in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary for the first time . Over 5 kilometers she was 51st, over 20 kilometers 48. In addition, she reached 12th place in the relay race with Ileana Ianoşiu-Hangan , Adina Țuțulan-Șotropa and Rodica Drăguş . After biathlon became an Olympic sport, the Romanian switched to the sport and took part in the 1990 World Championships in Minsk and Oslo for the first time, where she was 32nd of the individual. A year later in Lahti came 41st in the sprint and 42nd in the individual. In 1992 , the Romanian took part in the first ever Olympic biathlon competition for women in Albertville . In the sprint Cârstoi was 55th, in the individual 51st and on the side of Adina Țuțulan-Șotropa and Ileana Ianoşiu-Hangan, who had also switched from cross-country skiing to biathlon, relay tenth. In the inter-Olympic year, the 1993 World Championships followed in Borowetz , where Cârstoi was 71st of the individual and with Daniela Gârbacea , Monica Jauca , Adina Țuțulan-Șotropa was eleventh in the relay competition. The last major event was the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer . Cârstoi reached 63rd place in the individual and was with Adina Țuțulan-Șotropa, Ana Roman and Ileana Ianoşiu-Hangan 16th with the relay.

Until 1995 , Cârstoi regularly took part in World Cup races, placing in the points such as 22nd in an individual in 1993 in Antholz remained the exception. In 1995 she ended her career.
