Monika Stefanowicz
Monika Stefanowicz (born May 15, 1980 in Wągrowiec as Monika Drybulska ) is a Polish marathon runner .
In 2002 she won the Polish championship title over this distance as second in the Piła half marathon .
In 2003 she finished second in the Dębno marathon and set her personal best in the Berlin Marathon in sixth place with 2:29:57. In 2004 she was the overall winner of the Dębno marathon with 2:33:27 Polish marathon champion and thus qualified for the marathon of the Olympic Games in Athens , in which she did not, however, reach the finish. In 2005 she was tenth in the Nagoya Marathon and in 2006 third in the Berlin Marathon.
In 2008 she won the Polish championship title again as the overall winner in Dębno. At the Olympic Games in Beijing , she finished 24th.
Monika Stefanowicz is 1.60 m tall and weighs 46 kg. She is trained by Grzegorz Gajdus and starts for WKS Grunwald Poznań .
