The Mont Terri (German: Pultberg ) is a 804 meter high mountain in the canton of Jura . It is located near Cornol in the Ajoie and belongs to the northern flank of the Lomont chain , the 100 km longest Jura chain , which extends from Besançon to Reigoldswil .
The Mont Terri was for a short time from 1793 to 1800 named after the French 84th Département du Mont-Terrible .
