Montcalm is a regional county municipality ( French municipalité régionale du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Québec .

It is located in the administrative region of Lanaudière and consists of eleven subordinate administrative units (one city, six municipalities, a village and three districts). The MRC was founded on January 1, 1982. The main town is Sainte-Julienne . The population is 46,918 and the area is 707.8 km², which corresponds to a population density of 66.3 inhabitants per km². The MRC is named after Louis-Joseph de Montcalm .
