Monte Bellini (* 2002 ) is an internationally successful show jumping horse and stallion.
He is stationed at Ludger Beerbaum's riding facility in Riesenbeck and is ridden by the German show jumper Philipp Weishaupt . The stallion was owned by the Prussendorf State Stud until summer 2013, which then sold him to Ludger Beerbaum Stables GmbH.
Sports
In 2011 he traveled with his rider Philipp Weishaupt as a reserve for the European Championships in Madrid .
Monte Bellini celebrated his greatest success so far in September 2011 when he took third place in the Rio de Janeiro Grand Prix - the most highly endowed jumping competition of 2011.
With Weishaupt, he was nominated for the 2012 Olympic Games in London , but fell ill with a febrile infection a week before the start of the Games.
