On the northern slopes of the family which grows between the crevices Dipsacaceae belonging Pseudoscabiosa limonifolia ( Italian vedovina trapanese, "Trapanesische scabious").

The Monte Erice is the source of the Lenzi stream , which together with the Baiata covers a catchment area of 129 km 2 . Between the source and its mouth in the Mediterranean Sea there are 761.5 meters in altitude and 18 kilometers in length. It rises in the municipality of Erice and then flows through Valderice , Paceco and Trapani.
