Montgardon is a village on the Cotentin peninsula in western France . The former municipality and today's Commune déléguée with 474 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) belongs to Normandy and the Department of Manche . With effect from January 1, 2016, it was merged with Baudreville , Bolleville , Glatigny , La Haye-du-Puits , Mobecq , Saint-Rémy-des-Landes , Saint-Symphorien-le-Valois and Surville to form the Commune nouvelle La Haye . Neighboring towns are Surville in the northwest, Saint-Symphorien-le-Valois in the north, La Haye-du-Puits in the east, Angoville-sur-Ay in the southeast, Saint-Germain-sur-Ay in the south, Bretteville-sur-Ay in the southwest and Glatigny to the west.
