La Haye-du-Puits is a village and a former French commune with 1,475 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Coutances and the canton of Créances (until 2015: canton of La Haye-du-Puits ). The inhabitants are called Haytillons .
With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Baudreville , Bolleville , Glatigny , La Haye-du-Puits , Mobecq , Montgardon , Saint-Rémy-des-Landes , Saint-Symphorien-le-Valois and Surville became the Commune nouvelle La Haye merged and have the status of a Commune déléguée there . The administrative headquarters are in La Haye-du-Puits.

La Haye-du-Puits is located on the Cotentin peninsula in the Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin Regional Nature Park and about 35 kilometers south of Cherbourg-Octeville on the Vavasseur River .
The former Routes nationales 800 (today's D900) and 803 (today's D903) run through the area .
