The Moorbach is a 3.3 kilometer long orographically right tributary of the Bever in Radevormwald .
Location and topography
The stream rises at 395 meters above sea level. NN south of the Radevormwalder Hofschaft Tanne , initially flows in a southerly direction past Weyer and crosses under the high embankment of the disused Wuppertal Railway . Behind the railway embankment, it forms part of the city boundary between Radevormwald and Wipperfürth , before flowing entirely into the Wipperfürth area.
It flows past the estates of Berge , Kotten , Bruch and Levenhausen and flows out at 295 meters above sea level. NN in the Bever, a few meters before the dam of the Bevertalsperre .
The most important tributaries are the Schlesiepen, the Krötelsbeck, the Steinberger Bach and the Levensiepen. Several ponds are dammed up by the stream.
