Das Scheusal is a German TV film by Lars Montag based on a screenplay by Dirk Kämper and Montag from 2015 . It is the thirteenth episode of the crime film series Murder in the best company with Fritz Wepper as the psychiatrist Wendelin Winter in the lead role.

Psychiatrist Dr. Wendelin Winter's daughter Alexandra is supposed to write an article about Gerd Granitzka, who confessed to having committed six murders. She receives support from her father, who talks to the multiple murderer and goes through the old files for research. Here, due to some inconsistencies, he doubts whether Granitzka's admission of guilt is true. He has the case reopened.
