Dirk Kämper

Dirk Kämper (born 1963 ) is a German screenwriter , historian and film producer.

Life

Kämper studied art history, history and German at the University of Cologne and obtained his master's degree in 1989. For the rest of his life, he initially decided to work as a journalist and then increasingly switched to scriptwriting and television productions. For a while he traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, the USA, Africa and South America for TV features and documentaries and produced magazine articles for the Goethe-Institut and Inter Nationes , among other things . Since 1998 he has been working mainly as a freelance screenwriter.

Dirk Kämper lives with his wife and daughter in the Eifel on the Belgian border.
