action

Part 1 - Mountains on trial

Svea Classen and Peter Pirnegger have a happy relationship in Stralsund . They are civilly married, after Svea is pregnant, the two plan to marry in the church in Peter's hometown, the alpine village of St. Josef. Peter's parents Inge and Joseph Pirnegger, who is a hotelier and mayor of St. Josef, live there. Actually, Svea cannot imagine a church wedding in the Austrian mountains. After some hesitation, however, she accepted one anyway. Joseph plans to keep the two in the town for the long term. Peter receives the offer to become chief veterinarian in the planned national park there, a dream that would come true for Peter.

Joseph Pirnegger is happy that, to the chagrin of her mother Charlotte, Svea agrees to stay in the mountains for six months on a probationary basis, on the condition that she also works there. Joseph uses his connections to get her a job with Mayor Mingner in the neighboring village of Klamm. However, Svea develops more and more into Joseph's opponent. Joseph secretly wants Svea to ensure that Mayor Mingner votes for the establishment of the national park. Svea, on the other hand, wants to prevent hard-working mountain farmers like Grusch from falling by the wayside.

Part 2 - Stormy Times

Svea and Peter are now parents of a girl. Svea was elected mayor of the neighboring municipality of Klamm and as such fights for the interests of the mountain farmers. With the Munich nature conservation expert Martin Gollan and her assistant Igor, Svea is developing an alternative concept for the national park. Joseph, on the other hand, ensures that at a hearing, Peter as the head veterinarian is stabbed in the back. Peter has enough, he's tired of being instrumentalized by his father again and is ready to return to Stralsund with his daughter Josefine and Svea.

Svea doesn't want to give up so easily, especially after she gets hold of leverage against the mayor. But she realizes that Joseph was one step ahead of her again. For him, every stage victory always means the danger that his son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter will leave St. Josef and return to Stralsund. Svea and Peter go back to Stralsund for the time being, there Peter Svea confesses that he found out a few days ago that he and his secretary Anna Zertl have a child. Joseph visits Svea in Stralsund to bring her back. He suggests that you implement your concept. Svea and Peter return to St. Josef, the establishment of the national park is decided.
